Ultrasonic flow meter for non-invasive process monitoring

15 Jul, 2026

Wika’s FLC-CS4 ClampSonic™ ultrasonic flow meter provides accurate flow measurement for challenging process media without direct contact with the fluid. Using clamp-on transducers mounted externally on the pipe, the system can measure flow in both directions while handling corrosive, abrasive and highly viscous liquids.

The technology uses ultrasonic signals to deliver reliable measurements across a wide operating range, while also enabling monitoring of additional parameters including temperature, density, concentration and calorific value. This makes the system suitable for applications such as mining, food and beverage processing, chemical handling and water infrastructure.

Available in wireless and field versions, the FLC-CS4 can be configured remotely via integrated Wi-Fi or directly on-site. Real-time diagnostics, waveform analysis and compatibility with PLC systems support efficient process monitoring and easier integration into existing installations.
