Starna Scientific is the world’s only supplier of Certified Reference Materials for UV-visible spectroscopy to be accredited to ISO 17034:2016, the international benchmark for reference material producers. Users of their CRMs can therefore be confident that compliance measurements will be to the highest possible standard and accepted by regulatory authorities worldwide. This accreditation, and the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation of Starna’s calibration laboratory, covers a unique range of spectroscopy reference materials for wavelengths from the deep UV to the mid infra-red. Starna Green, for example, is a novel, non-toxic (REACH compliant) absorbance CRM usable from 250 nm to 650 nm and at absorbance values up to 5 A. Instrument users therefore have an the widest possible choice when selecting CRMs to match their analytical conditions, as required by the latest editions of the pharmacopoeias. The Starna range also includes references for microvolume measurements, microplates, fluorescence and life science applications.
