Distribution Agreement Brings Single-Cell Handling Solutions to China

iotaSciences, a pioneer in the single-cell handling solutions field, and Quantum Design China, a subsidiary of Quantum Design International, have announced an exclusive distribution partnership for iotaSciences' proprietary single-cell handling platforms in China.

Lambert Cao, General Manager of Quantum Design China, expressed excitement about offering Chinese customers access to iotaSciences' platforms. He highlighted their user-friendliness, reliability, and remarkable capabilities, emphasising how they simplify and enhance advancements in cell biology and gene therapy. Cao also underlined the importance of introducing this unique technology to the rapidly expanding realm of single-cell biological applications.

Ed Walsh, iotaSciences' Founding Director & Chief Innovation Officer, conveyed enthusiasm for this collaboration with Quantum Design China, seeing it as a significant step towards deploying their innovative technology across the Chinese scientific community. He emphasised how their proprietary fluid-shaping technology brings substantial benefits to single-cell handling workflows, crucial in various cutting-edge research fields like CRISPR, iPSCs, and gene therapy.

Dr Michael Lutz, recently appointed CEO of iotaSciences, added that this partnership represents another key milestone in the company's development path, following a recent surge in commercial activities, which led to a doubling of their installed base in the past year.
