Refrigeration specialist showcases its laboratory and healthcare portfolio

Liebherr will exhibit its range of laboratory and healthcare refrigeration equipment at Lab Innovations, taking place at the NEC Birmingham on 4–5 November, where the company will be on stand K70.

Under the theme “confidence from every angle”, the stand will feature Liebherr’s laboratory and healthcare refrigeration portfolio, developed to support dependable temperature performance and the protection of valuable samples across research, healthcare and laboratory environments.

Visitors will be able to view a selection of the company’s laboratory and healthcare refrigerators and freezers, including the SRFvh 4011 Perfection and SRPvh 6501 Perfection laboratory refrigerators, the SFTfg 1501 Performance under-bench laboratory freezer, the SRTvh 1511 Perfection under-bench refrigerator and the SRCse 801 Performance countertop laboratory refrigerator.

Liebherr’s research and laboratory refrigerators and freezers combine precise electronic controls, integrated alarm systems and rapid temperature recovery, intended to support the safe storage of sensitive substances. The range spans under-bench, upright and large-capacity models, as well as ATEX variants, allowing laboratories to select an appliance suited to their operational requirements.

The appliances use forced-air cooling, effective insulation and corrosion-resistant interiors, which Liebherr says are designed to deliver dependable temperature performance, energy efficiency and long-term durability. The company has also carried out airflow optimisation, temperature recovery testing and real-world loading research to help laboratories maintain consistent performance in everyday use. All appliances are tested at Liebherr’s development facilities, with temperature uniformity validated at nine measurement points in accordance with EN 60068-3.

Additional features, including SmartLock security, integrated data logging, alarm connectivity and cleanroom-compatible options, are intended to help laboratories protect samples, support compliance and maintain long-term reliability. Selected models meet the IEC 61010-2-011 safety standard, and certain appliances also conform to DIN 13277 and ATEX requirements. Connectivity with Liebherr SmartMonitoring is designed to support remote monitoring, alerts and audit-ready data logging, helping laboratories manage quality and regulatory obligations.

Liebherr’s laboratory refrigeration appliances carry a five-year manufacturer’s guarantee when purchased with SmartMonitoring and are engineered for a minimum 15-year service life, with extended spare parts availability to support long-term operation.

Choudhury will also deliver a session on the Live Lab stage, exploring what is happening inside laboratory refrigeration and the role efficient appliances play in laboratory environments, on Wednesday 4 November from 11:00 am to 11:20 am.
