The NLISIS Meltfit One is a new, reliable and efficient method for coupling capillary columns in GC, GCxGC, CZE and all other coupled-column capillary separation techniques. In five simple steps the NLISIS Meltfit One establishes an automated and standardised connection between two capillary columns, using a deactivated Meltfit Tube.
A combination of heat and air pressure fixates the columns in the tube, establishing a seamless connection. The Meltfit has been tested
with up to eleven connections in series, without showing any noticeable bandbroadening or leakage.
Using the NLISIS Meltfit One, coupling capillary columns becomes simple, stable, secure and swift, resulting in more successful and reliable analyses and lower costs of ownership. In addition, the Meltfit
One will help organisations align internal operating procedures and meet regulatory requirements.
