The extraction and enrichment of phosphopeptides from protein digests is of key importance for their successful characterisation by MALDI-MS and LC-MS analyses.  The titanium dioxide (Titansphere) phase from GL Sciences has proved to be particularly effective in this role, showing increased selectivity compared with traditional IMAC methodologies.

In addition to the supply of Titansphere bulk material, designed for the enrichment of phosphopeptides from small sample volumes, GL Sciences have introduced a Phos-TiO Kit for even more effective operation.  The use of this kit enables excellent recovery rates and selectivity to be achieved.  An operation manual is provided in each kit.  Key benefits of Phos-TiO Kits include: high selectivity (reduces non-specific adsorption), high throughput (96-well format available), easy to operate (4 step process, 40 mins operation time) and high capacity (optimised surface activity).
