RSA glass autosampler vials from MicroSolv Technology Corporation, have been specifically developed for working with low abundance and polar analytes. The proprietary manufacturing process used in producing these vials eliminates the silicate surface layer of regular vials. This in turn minimises adsorption of analytes to the glass walls, which can lead to inconsistent results when using regular glass vials. In addition, using RSA vials can prevent pH changes and sample hydrolysis occurring in vials before injection, even hours later. RSA vials have ultra-low levels of surface metal ions, making them an ideal choice for sensitive LC-MS/MS as well as GC-MS analyses.
