Peak Scientific launches the newest innovation in GC gas generation technology at ASMS 2025

02 Jun, 2025

Peak Scientific, the leading manufacturer of gas generation solutions, has launched their newest series of products for GC instruments, Intura, at ASMS 2025 in Baltimore, MD. The range of hydrogen, nitrogen and zero air generators are a premium, on-demand solution for labs who are looking to increase their productivity and quality of their analysis.

Following on from - and improving upon - their flagship GC package, the Precision series, Peak have designed and manufactured a range of generators which offer GC labs flexibility when it comes to flow rate, gas type, pressure, and much more. Intura is designed for labs who need high-purity carrier and detector gas in a compact, space saving footprint for their GC.

Peak’s GC Product Manager, Dr Ed Connor, said: “ASMS is the biggest event in our calendar so it’s always exciting to launch a new product at the show and the team of engineers responsible for the Intura series have done a fantastic job of creating one of the most cutting-edge GC gas solutions in one of the smallest footprints on the market.

“We spent time talking to our customers about their requirements and wants when it comes to a gas solution and we believe we’ve designed the best solution to meet these demands.

“Overall, we have significantly reduced the size and footprint of the generators as well as managing to achieve a much lower power consumption across the series, compared with the product’s predecessor. We’ve also introduced a new CAT chamber design, improved PSA dryer for our hydrogen offerings, and introduced our patented AirMax intake filter in our nitrogen and zero air generators to ensure the best performance for our customers.”

Intura embodies innovation in lab gas generation engineering technology which maximises uptime and delivers a premium offering for customers to aid in their critical work.
