A new partnership between GAMBICA and The Quorum Principle is set to help manufacturers unlock greater value from automation and digital transformation projects by improving collaboration across organisations and supply chains.
The agreement gives members of GAMBICA - the UK trade association for instrumentation, control, automation and laboratory technology - access to The Quorum Principle’s collaboration framework, training programmes and consultancy services.
While investment in Industry 4.0 technologies continues to grow, many transformation projects fail to deliver their expected benefits. According to The Quorum Principle, the challenge often lies not in the technology itself, but in the ability of organisations, suppliers and stakeholders to work together effectively.
The partnership seeks to address this issue by providing manufacturers and technology providers with a structured approach to collaboration, helping to align objectives, remove organisational silos and improve project outcomes.
GAMBICA's 200-plus member companies will also gain access to a wider network of manufacturers, solution providers and industry organisations already using The Quorum Principle methodology, including Make UK, the Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA) and the Food and Drink Federation.
Steve Brambley, Chief Executive of GAMBICA, said that collaboration sits at the heart of the association's work and that the partnership offers members a practical framework for delivering successful technology transformation projects.
John Robinson, Founder and CEO of The Quorum Principle, said the initiative would help suppliers of automation, instrumentation and control technologies work more effectively with manufacturers and other partners, enabling organisations to realise more of the value generated by digital transformation investments.
The collaboration extends The Quorum Principle’s reach across key sectors of the UK's industrial technology supply chain, including industrial automation, process instrumentation, test and measurement, and laboratory technology.
