IonOpticks strengthens UK presence with new Milton Park facility

IonOpticks has expanded its UK and European operations with the opening of a new applications laboratory and office facility at Milton Park, Oxfordshire.

The company has taken 2,940 ft² (273 m²) of laboratory and office space at 127 Olympic Avenue, providing a dedicated base to support its growing customer network across the UK and Europe.

Founded in Melbourne, Australia, in 2017, IonOpticks develops high-performance chromatography columns that support liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) workflows in proteomics research. Its technology is used by researchers worldwide to improve the speed, sensitivity and reproducibility of protein analysis, supporting advances in areas including disease research, biomarker discovery and drug development.

The new Milton Park facility will provide IonOpticks with space for applications development, technical support and customer collaboration, helping bring expertise closer to researchers and scientific organisations throughout the region. The facility will also improve access to local stock availability and enable faster support through teams working within European time zones.
