SmartSaver – USB solvent recycler

Biotech Fluidics introduces the SmartSaver solvent recycling unit, designed to recover up to 90% of mobile phase solvents in isocratic HPLC by redirecting pure solvent to the reservoir. This not only enhances the lab's sustainability but also offers cost savings by recycling a significant portion of the solvent used in the HPLC system.

SmartSaver's compact design allows direct power from the chromatography data system PC, eliminating the need for a power adapter. The user-friendly software facilitates easy configuration of parameters and provides online monitoring with an audit trail of the recovered solvent.

Compatible with nearly all HPLC systems, SmartSaver continuously monitors the output signal from the chromatographic instrument detector. An integral smart processor evaluates the digital data generated by an analogue-to-digital converter, enabling the 3-way valve in the SmartSaver to switch between waste and recycle positions based on the input signal level from the detector mobile phase output.
