Biotech Fluidics introduces a new flowmeter kit designed for fast, accurate, and reliable validation of HPLC pump performance.
Consistent solvent flow is critical for reliable HPLC separations, making pump performance monitoring essential. Traditional validation methods rely on volumetric or Coriolis flowmeters, both of which have limitations. Volumetric flowmeters provide integrated readings over long timeframes, lacking real-time variability and pulsation data. Coriolis flowmeters, while effective, have limited time resolution and are costly.
The Biotech Fluidics Liquid Flowmeter offers a real-time, non-invasive solution based on a thermal sensor, enabling precise HPLC pump validation. The accompanying HPLC Pump Validation Kit processes data via the Biotech Fluidics Liquid Flowmeter PC-App, automatically performing all necessary flow calculations. The system validates data for compliance, generates summary reports for documentation, and includes a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for streamlined validation.
Beyond performance validation, the kit also detects transient flow changes in real-time, including pump pulsation, ensuring optimal HPLC operation.
