Absolute Vision, the UK based specialist developer of two-dimensional (2D) code reading and machine vision solutions, demonstrated three Data Matrix code readers for the first time at the International Biotech and Lab Automation Show, London. The new and upgraded BioMeridian? reading technology will provide drug discovery companies and laboratories worldwide with even greater reading capability and improved efficiency.

The new products being shown for the first time today are:-

BioMeridian? BioScan? 96 Compact A small, A5 sized product with built-in scanner technology. A cost-effective, entry-level product, ideal as a desktop unit for reading racks of tubes at high speed.

BioMeridian? BioScan? 384 Pro - Absolute Vision has responded to the recent introduction of blue racks by one tube manufacturer, by upgrading this product to incorporate new blue lighting. Customers will now
benefit from the blue lights, which not only allow reading with any colour rack but greatly improve the quality of reading with blue racks.

BioMeridian? MIR This new, robust medical instrument reader offers improved lighting and comes in a robust IP65 rated stainless steel housing, designed for use in any challenging medical environment.
