The SV-10 and SV-100's newly developed Tuning-fork Vibration Method, from A and D Instruments Ltd, has been recognized by the JCSS as the official viscosity measurement in Japan, which meets JIS Q 17025 (2005) requirements (equivalent to ISO/IEC17025 : 2005). This measurement method for the SV series also complies with the Guide to the expression of uncertainty in measurement (GUM) and ISO/TR3666 (1998) Viscosity of water.

The SV series requires only a small sample size of 10ml to 35ml and is equipped with a temperature sensor as standard to measure from 0 to 160?. This series offers ease-of-use and excellent repeatability, which are both extremely important for viscosity measurement.
The WinCT-Viscosity software is also very useful because it can transfer measurement data from a viscometer to a PC and display viscosity and temperature in a graph format.

The SV series offers the best and most accurate viscosity measurement for your applications.
