Vertical autoclaves retain their top spot
Jun 04 2024
Top-loading vertical autoclaves remain one of the most popular designs for life-science research, not only because they can accommodate the tallest of flasks, fermenters, and bioreactors, but because they’re excellent for processing mixed waste, biological waste, pathogen-heavy materials, cloth and textile sterilization, soil and substrate preparation, wrapped instruments, as well as porous loads. Priorclave’s top-loading autoclaves continue to be amongst the most compact full-size units on the market today, and for laboratories looking for a relatively small autoclave, but cannot accommodate a benchtop model, a vertical chamber sterilizer is the ideal solution.
Priorclave has engineered top-loading research and laboratory-grade autoclaves since 1988, with capacities from 60 Litres to 150 Litres, all with small footprints and low lifetime operating costs. Every Priorclave is built in their London factory, specifically to meet your requirements, in either the Base, or Smart range which offer customisable cycles (with expanded memory), pre-cycle and post-cycle vacuum, integrated cooling with free-steaming, and air intake filtration as standard for greater flexibility.
All variants of Priorclave’s top-loading vertical autoclaves, from the V60-BASE model to the EV150-SMART model include Priorclave’s programmable Tactrol®3 Control System, enabling a simple "one-touch" start. Priorclave’s Quickseal single-action interlocking safety lid ensures that the autoclave cannot be opened until it is safe to do so. To further enhance longevity and performance, Biomaster ™ has been incorporated into exterior surfaces, providing additional antimicrobial protection for the lifetime of the autoclave, helping to ensure surfaces remain cleaner for longer, reducing the risk of microbial growth or cross-contamination.
