Designed for cleanroom and pharmaceutical environments, Teknomek’s Hygienox range of furniture includes electropolished stainless steel options for an ultra-smooth finish. Created specifically for B Grade cleanroom environments, the electropolishing process removes a very thin layer of the stainless steel to remove surface oxides and impurities. This makes it harder for bacteria to grow and biofilms to form.

With an RA rating of <0.3, this reduces the amount of peaks and valleys in the stainless steel surface. This finish is less abrasive, minimising friction with surfaces and decreasing the chance of particle release into the atmosphere.

A futureproof cleanroom solution, it is extremely durable against harsh chemicals including Chlorine and Hydrogen Peroxide. Designed and built to hygienic ultra-sterile standards, Hygienox tables and lecterns feature polished welds, tubular legs and tabletops with open corners for an intelligent Teknomek solution.
