Agilent Technologies, Inc introduced the Agilent Rack for LC Systems, designed to protect equipment from accidental damage, improve access to modules and connections, and facilitate module changes.

The sturdy aluminum rack features adjustable shelves and is compatible with all Agilent 1100, 1200 and 1290 Infinity series modules. The flexibility of the new rack means the column compartment or UV detector can be positioned closer to the ion source in an LC/MS system. This can reduce delay volume and minimise peak dispersion to improve data quality.

The open design provides improved airflow and access to cabling. The rack can be affixed to the workbench for additional stability and assembles in minutes using standard hand tools.
