Agilent’s Infinity III LC Series has become the company’s first range of instruments to be awarded the updated My Green Lab® ACT® Ecolabel 2.0 - a mark of environmentally responsible design in the laboratory. The announcement highlights Agilent’s growing focus on helping laboratories adopt more sustainable workflows without compromising analytical performance.
As sustainability continues to influence purchasing and operational decisions in the lab, tools like the ACT label help scientists make informed choices. The updated Ecolabel 2.0 provides verified, science-based environmental impact data for lab products, including metrics on energy use, packaging, end-of-life disposal, and more.
Designed to support energy-efficient workflows and smart solvent use, the Infinity III LC Series incorporates automated functions and modular components. This makes it possible for labs to upgrade existing Agilent Infinity II systems to newer technologies - a cost-effective strategy to reduce environmental impact while extending instrument lifecycle. Notably, the Infinity III systems will also be the first Agilent LCs to offer CO₂ footprint data directly to users.
The Infinity III LC Series offers laboratories a practical route to improved sustainability, aligning with increasing global expectations for greener science and lower-impact analytical methods.
