Feb 04 2011
Prism Ideas, a provider of medical communications and drug development consultancy services, has appointed Carol Hills as Chief Operations Officer (COO) following a successful two-year period as the company’s director of medical marketing. She will oversee the day-to-day management of the business, which is set for growth into new markets including the opening of a US office. The company, which has offices in the UK and Switzerland and celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, has also recruited five other members of staff over the past two months.
With a degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge Carol spent eight years at Glaxo Group Research, where she completed a PhD in receptor pharmacology, before leading the communications strategy and plan for a major oncology brand at AstraZeneca. "I am delighted to be appointed as COO and to be part of Prism at such an important time in the company’s growth.” said Carol Hills. "I am looking forward to creating an environment where our growing team can provide our clients with the excellence they expect from us, enjoy their work and continue to make Prism a success."
