Tramore upgrade strengthens global biostorage network

19 Jun, 2025

Astoriom has expanded its dedicated sample stability storage facilities at its Tramore, Ireland site, responding to increased demand for flexible and regulatory-compliant storage solutions. The upgraded site now offers scalable storage options ranging from -60°C to -196°C, including ICH temperature-controlled environments critical for R&D and regulatory studies.

This expansion builds on the launch of a dedicated cryogenic storage suite at Tramore last year and aligns with Astoriom’s recent acquisitions in the UK and US, reinforcing its integrated global network of stability storage and biorepository services.

The Tramore facility maintains strict compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001, providing precise temperature control to safeguard valuable samples for clients across biopharmaceuticals, biotech, CROs/CDMOs, research institutions, and biobanks.

Lori A. Ball, CEO of Astoriom, commented: “With more than 30 years’ experience, Astoriom is proud to be a trusted partner in protecting R&D sample assets worldwide. This expansion strengthens our global presence and supports the evolving needs of our customers for high-quality, scalable, and regulation-ready storage environments.”
