Breckland Scientific joins the Atom Scientific family

In June 2025, Atom Scientific acquired Breckland Scientific Ltd from Phil Tomlinson. Breckland is a well-established supplier in the education sector, recognised for its strong reputation in providing chemicals and laboratory equipment.

By welcoming Breckland into the Atom family, Atom is broadening their market diversity to include science & education and engaging with Breckland's commitment to STEM, supporting technicians, and inspiring the next generation of scientists. To support this growth, Atom have expanded into a new facility, adding (17,303 ft²) to an existing (34,319 ft²). This brings Atom Scientific's total footprint to 51,622 ft² creating space for Breckland's stock and the expanding distribution team allowing them to enhance service levels and support faster delivery times for customers throughout the UK.
