Company news
Oxford-based analytical instrument company Refeyn has announced a change in its board leadership, with Jonathan Flint stepping down as Chairman after six years. Flint, who has overseen a period of significant global growth and innovation, completed two full terms in the role.
He will be succeeded by Jean-Paul Mangeolle, a Refeyn board member since 2022 and former President of Sciex, part of Danaher Corporation. Mangeolle brings over three decades of experience in life science instrumentation and is expected to help steer Refeyn through its next stage of expansion.
CEO Gerry MacKay commented: “Jonathan’s leadership has been foundational to Refeyn’s success. We’re delighted to welcome Jean-Paul as Chairman - his strategic insight will be invaluable as we continue to scale.”
Refeyn, a University of Oxford spinout, is known for its pioneering mass photometry technology, which enables label-free analysis of biomolecules at the single-particle level.
