In 1837 The Kavalier Glassworks was established and it has been making glass ever since, in fact it is the oldest technical glass factory in Europe. Over the years many changes have taken place, and today it is considered an important producer worldwide. The glass made is borosilicate and is marketed under its own registered brand name Simax. Simax glass matches the demanding environmental requirements and is absolutely unexceptionable from an ecological viewpoint.

Simax glass, by its chemical composition and properties, ranges in the group of clear, hard, borosilicate 3,3, characterised with high heat and chemical stability, specified by international standards ISO 3585, resp. CSN ISO 3585, and, ASTM E 438 Type I, Class A. It entirely meets the demands as set out in the said standards. SIMAX products include a complete catalogue of glass tubing and profiles, laboratory glassware, pilot plant for chemical processes, industrial apparatus and other technical items; household boiling and ovenware as well as decorative products.

Try Simax and you will see the quality.
