This year marks the 75th anniversary of the world’s best known name in jointed glassware.
Quickfit® pioneered interchangeable jointed glassware in 1934 - a time when the traditional method of connecting apparatus was via rubber bungs and corks. Quickfit® glassware was originally made at Kings
Norton, Birmingham, England and, from the outset, the company endeavoured to perfect the quality of the ground joints to ensure leak-free performance.
Today, Quickfit® is still manufactured in the UK at the SciLabware factory in Stone, Staffordshire. The Quickfit® logo can be found on over 1200 items of laboratory glassware including flasks, condensers, fractionating columns and separating funnels. Its reputation for highest quality is maintained and Quickfit® remains the number one choice for scientists throughout the world.
To celebrate the 75th anniversary and to recognise the contribution Quickfit® has made to science and medicine, SciLabware is making a donation to Cancer Research UK.
