Plant Growth Incubators

MRC Plant Growth Incubators are designed for studies requiring day and night time simulation. Standard models come with fluorescent illumination but optional LED illumination is available. The Illuminated growth chamber controllers allow two temperature settings - day and night - as well as an On/Off illumination cycle relative to the program selected. Timers can be set to adjust cycles from 10 minutes up to 24 hours.

Each system operates independently allowing for simulation of a diurnal cycle, such as an eight hour day cycle of 30°C with light followed by a sixteen hour night cycle of 18°C without light.

Forced air circulation ensures the most reproducible test conditions. The chamber air is gently and continuously circulated at a rate that ensures temperature uniformity of all test samples.

The unit is equipped with a hermetically-sealed compressor and an independent over temperature safety controller as well as a circuit breaker to protect from electrical overload. It also includes five shelves, adjustable levelling feet, a steel exterior with welded seams and corners and a double-coated, baked enamel finish.
