The NuAire In-Vitrocell family of direct heat CO2 incubators offers laboratories with a range of cell culture needs models that control temperature, CO2, relative humidity and oxygen level in either a 160L or 200L size. All models use direct heating elements for temperature control and an infrared sensor for CO2 control while using a HEPA filter to constantly filter the chamber air and control contamination. Most models also offer the user a choice of a 145ºC high heat or 95ºC humidified decontamination cycle. For more specialised applications, select models house a relative humidity reservoir though which chamber air is passed when humidity is required. Other models also inject N2 to suppress the oxygen level and create hypoxic conditions in the chamber.  A touch screen eases basic use and data downloads, while accessories such as a wheeled platform or segmented inner doors allow configuration for each laboratory.
