AC Analytical Controls’ CNS SIMDIS, by PAC, is the only instrument on the market that combines boiling point distribution testing for hydrocarbon, nitrogen, and sulphur in a single run. It’s a unique instrument with an all-in-one approach to fuel testing.

Regulations around the world pressure refineries to produce low-sulfur fuels. In addition, the nitrogen and sulphur compounds in hydrocarbons are two of the most critical catalyst contaminants affecting

both refinery productivity and margins. In order to optimise their operations, refineries need to not only understand the sulphur and nitrogen concentrations but also their presence in the processing streams boiling range span.

The AC CNS SIMDIS analyser offers the market the required level of detail that empowers refineries to precisely assess raw materials, develop better modelling and optimise their processes. With its robust design, dedicated AC SIMDIS software, and complete range of calibration and reference material, the AC CNS SIMDIS Analyser is a fully automated solution for unattended operation and ease of use. The system complies with ASTM D2887, D6352, D7500, and the incorporated sulfur SIMDIS distillation principle is currently being standardised by PAC as ASTM WK24514
