Precision Balance Delivers Portable and Reliable Weighing of Various Sample Sizes
Jul 30 2012
The PGL series of balances from Adam Equipment is designed to withstand the rigors of a laboratory setting, while delivering precise results quickly and easily. With the valuable features of a precision balance and different pan sizes to accommodate many types and sizes of samples, the PGL also incorporates the convenience and elegant simplicity that come with portable weighing solutions.
The PGL family consists of 12 models: Small pan (145 x 125mm) with capacities of 200g-300g and a readability of 0.001g; Medium pan (192 x 192mm) with capacities of 2000g-15kg and readabilities of 0.01g -0.1g; Large pan (400 x 300mm) with capacities of 10kg-30kg and a readability of 0.1kg.
All PGLs feature Adam’s ShockProtect™ three-point overload protection, safeguarding the balance from overloads. The balances are equipped with up to 12 weighing units, including one custom unit, and have application modes for parts counting, percentage weighing, specific gravity/density determination and check weighing.
PGL balances combine solid construction with functional design. The all-metal casing, large stainless steel pan and easy-to-read LCD readout with date and time make this balance ideal for numerous laboratory applications. The RS-232 interface allows communications to printers and computers, and the keypad has colour-coded keys for quick recognition. Power is provided by a standard AC adapter and rechargeable battery pack, which allows the balance to be used wherever and whenever needed.
