New Rack and Refill System

Mettler Toledo has introduced an innovative new rack and refill system for its industry-leading line of ultra-pure, precision-engineered Rainin pipette tips. The tips themselves have not changed, but how customers interact with them has been completely reengineered and reimagined. The result is a multi-function rack and refill system that is lighter and easier to use.

For proteomics researchers, the company’s purity standard, now called BioClean Ultra, has been expanded to include stringent testing for proteins and protease.

The tip deck has been designed to allow full or partial multichannel loading from any direction. A clear lid and colour-coded deck make it easy to identify the tip volume from any angle, and new high-resolution labelling on the front of each box provide product details. The rack and refill also use 20% less plastic than the previous system and are more easily recycled.
