New Range of PCR Consumables

Appleton Woods has introduced a new range of PCR consumables with innovative design features to enhance accuracy and reproducibility of regular and real-time PCR. All PCR tubes, strips and plates are manufactured from a unique blend of polypropylene that minimises evaporation and enhances heat transfer, yet is flexible and has excellent optical clarity.

Highly uniform wall thicknesses give a precise and consistent reaction temperature throughout the well, while achieving an optimal block fit for

leading thermal cyclers. The ingeniously designed tube caps give a leakfree seal that can still repeatedly be opened and closed with ease.

The extensive range includes domed, semi-domed and flat caps, lowprofile versions and plates that are non-skirted, skirted or sub-skirted to

meet all user and instrument requirements. A variety of colours are also available, including white and frosted versions, which are ideal for realtime PCR applications.
