New LIMS Tools Enable Lean Decisions in the Lab

Applied Biosystems has released the new SQL*LIMS Information Delivery Suite that enables laboratories of all types to operate more effectively without sacrificing accuracy or compromising validation requirements. SQL*LIMS® Information Delivery Suite delivers four key components: a configurable, interactive, role based dashboards; a simple to use end user ad-hoc query tool; real-time information access via wireless handheld devices; and powerful web feed capabilities to ‘push’ frequently updated critical information to any standard RSS reader.

The new SQL*LIMS Ad-Hoc Query Tool gives users a powerful, intuitive and easy to use interface to define a search for just the data they are interested in. That information can then be interactively viewed printed, saved in a PDF, exported to Excel or published as an RSS feed for instance access by many other decision makers using standard desktop technology. As the volume of data stored in a LIMS increases, decision makers need a simple, straightforward way to mine that data to view meaning information allowing for more informed decisions.
