Vortamix™ from Argos is a compact yet powerful tube mixer

Argos Technologies is a U.S. manufacturer of liquid handling, consumable plasticware, cryogenic storage, and benchtop equipment for research laboratories.  They have been producing manufacturing solutions for science for over 11 years.

The Vortamix™ Mini Vortexer from Argos Technologies is an unbelievably mini but mighty instrument engineered to mix tubes quickly and easily.  The vortexing motion is activated by placing a tube on the gasket cap and then pressing down lightly.  The innovative design of the gasket cap allows centrifuge and test tubes up to 30 mm in diameter to be mixed with very little effort – including 50mL conical tubes!

The standard unit comes with a red rubber gasket cap, but easy to replace blue, green and purple caps are offered separately to customise any Vortamix.

Despite its small size and weight (dimensions: 95 x 85 mm/weight: .55 kg), the Vortamix offers an excellent mixing speed of 3,000 rpm.  The orbital diameter is 4.5mm.

The Vortamix is CE marked and has a 2 year warranty.
