Xylem’s key brands deliver analytical solutions to the pharmaceutical industry

Whether the need is a high specification Peltier temperature controlled refractometer, a four decimal multiple wavelength polarimeter measuring down to 325nm, a UV/Vis spectrophotometer or an automatic titrator that can trace its heritage back to the evolution of electro-chemistry; many scientists first choice instruments are Xylem brands.

WTW’s photoLab 7600 UV/Vis spectrophotometer is capable of displaying full spectral scans on its integral colour screen and not only having an on-board suite of 200 pre-programmed methods, is capable of handling up to 1000 user defined methods or up to 20 kinetic profiles too, including many of those cited in Pharmacopeia. A fully GLP and AQA compliant spectral software package is available.

Monitoring the temperature and humidity of pharmaceuticals is Xylem brand ebro’s specialty. EBI 300 reusable data loggers monitor the temperature and humidity of vaccines, human tissue, drugs and other raw materials during transit to prevent spoilage. EBI 12 data loggers commonly validate sterilization of autoclaves and are used for fridge mapping. For samples in storage, EBI 25 wireless data loggers transmit temperature and/or humidity readings to WinlogLog PC software for real-time data monitoring, with remote alarm notifications via mobile device providing a 247/365 monitoring and data logging solution.
