The new Orion L microplate luminometer, Berthold Detection Systems GmbH, has everything which is needed to perform reliable luminescence-based experiments. Without a long list of extra functions which are rarely used, Orion L provides an exceptional value. It was designed using the experience of many thousands of instrument which are installed and used in numerous research and routine laboratories, to comply with the requirements of today´s luminescence assays.
The new Orion L is very sensitive and comes with up to two automatic reagent injectors. The established and reliable "Simplicity" software manages instrument control and data evaluation. Version 2.4 has just been released and provides several improvements, as well as preinstalled protocols for the most popular luminescence assays. The optional instrument validation tools, Luminescence TestPlate and IQ/OQ/PQ documentation package, support proper validation and documentation according to GLP standards.
