Brand`s new 384-well UV BRANDplate is the first plate (of its kind) made (in one piece) of UV-transparent and chemical resistant Polymer. The UV-transparency from 220 nm makes it possible to determine nucleic acid and protein concentrations.
The material of the UV Brandplates has already proven millions of times with their Plastibrand UV-Cuvettes and combines the essential advantages of PS (transparency) and of PP (chemical resistance).
Excellent optical properties and high chemical resistance make colorimetric assays possible even with aggressive media like DMSO, Aceton or Dioxan. Precisely rounded wells and a hydrophilised surface allow an optimum meniscus formation. This ensures lowest variation
between the wells.
