Anton Paar’s new particle size analyser

Anton Paar welcomes a new, even more capable way to characterise particles. The Litesizer DLS 700, our new, high-end particle size analyser, determines particle concentration precisely and faultlessly. By using multi-angle particle sizing (MAPS), it achieves the highest resolution for different peaks, making it our most capable particle sizing instrument to date.

All of the features you’ve come to enjoy from the Litesizer DLS 500 instrument are also part of the DLS 700. Such features include, besides others, the characterisation of nanoparticles and microparticles at three measurement angles, including automatic angle selection. The measurement of zeta potential with our patented cmPALS technology, in combination with the unique Omega shaped cuvettes, allows for faster, more precise measurements and higher repeatability (+/- 3%) compared to conventionally-used methods. Additionally, the DLS 700 and 500 also offer the measurement of molecular mass, continuous transmittance measurements and determination of the refractive index of solvents.

Users can manage all of these features with Kalliope, the user-friendly and intuitive measurement software of Litesizer DLS 700. The software also includes the brand-new play list feature that allows users predefine a series of measurements consisting of different measurement modes with minimum user interaction, as well as tailored reporting options combining results from different measuring modes within one report.
