New Portable pH Meter Announced

Aug 14 2020

The new CA10101 portable pH meter from Chauvin Arnoux combines a totally waterproof design - whether or not the test electrode is connected - with rugged construction and a shockproof sheath, ensuring that it will provide long, dependable service in even the toughest of operating conditions. The instrument also features simplified and guided pH calibration with up to three buffer solutions, which saves time as well as enhancing the reliability and accuracy of the results.

It is ideally suited for use in wide range of business sectors, including environmental monitoring, wastewater treatment, food production, pharmaceutical manufacturing, education and agriculture.

As well as measuring pH, the CA10101 also measures redox potential (ORP) and temperature. Results are shown on a wide multifunction LCD screen, which includes a signal stability indicator to confirm that the value shown has stabilised and is ready for recording. The display is backlit to ensure excellent legibility under all lighting conditions. In addition, the CA10101 automatically records measurements in an internal memory that has capacity for storing more 100,000 time-stamped results. These can be readily transferred to a PC, via a standard USB connection, for further analysis or for inclusion in reports.

Compact and lightweight, the CA10101 pH meter can easily be carried in one hand while measurements are being performed, thanks to an integrated clip that provides reliable mounting of the pH/redox electrode on the instrument body. It is supplied as standard in a resilient site-proof case together with accessories that include a pH combination electrode with an integrated temperature sensor, ready-to-use pH 4.01 and pH 7.00 buffer solutions, two plastic beakers, a wrist strap and a quick-start guide. Optional accessories include adaptors for sensors and electrodes that have BNC, S7 or jack-plug connectors.
