Accurate and rapid determination of, for example, D-Glucose levels is critical for monitoring and controlling bioprocesses such as cell cultivation and fermentation. Samples containing bioprocess media are complex and, due to micro-organism activity, the sample matrix varies
during the bioprocess. Traditional methods for determinations of D-Glucose in bioprocess samples are often time consuming and/or expensive because of instrument investments, insufficiency in certain types of samples, or at low glucose concentrations.
The automatic single test analysis systems in the SIRE® Bio Laboratory Systems series provided by Chemel AB offer laboratories rapid analysis times: less than 5 minutes, including sample preparation. The systems include instruments from the SIRE P200 series, ready-to-use
validated reagent kits, service and software. The systems are user-friendly, enabling samples to be measured on-demand at any time of day, which is vital for process control (food process, bioprocess, biochemical process).
