Products Receive ABS Certification

Detcon recently received ABS Type Approval certification on a wide range of gas detection sensors and control systems. This Type Approval certification ensures that a product or system has met specified standards of excellence in construction and design for use on board marine vessels and offshore structures.

Detcon received several Product Design Assessment (PDA) approvals from ABS and also passed a comprehensive Manufacturing Facility audit.

These ABS approved Detcon products can now be applied without further technical evaluation. The ABS certification is widely accepted throughout the global shipping and offshore drilling industries.

All Detcon products undergo extensive in-house quality assessment, testing and evaluation before shipping.
