The ELITech Group announced the availability of two new bench-top chemistry analysers, first in the new ELITech Clinical Systems product line designed to better serve the needs of low volume chemistry laboratories. Together with a dedicated range of ready-to-use reagents specific to ELITech Clinical Systems, the Selectra ProXS provides a fully integrated chemistry solution for smaller or satellite laboratory locations. The Flexor EL80 extends to these laboratories the proven benefits of the successful Flexor family for open chemistry use. Robust, compact, and easy-to-use, with a throughput of 75 tests per hour, the Selectra ProXS and Flexor EL80 are the ideal bench-top solutions for primary, STAT or back-up system needs.

These products offer minimal maintenance and effective use of consumables to provide a truly cost effective operation. Optional reagent and patient bar code capabilities further increase the user-friendliness and efficiency of the new systems, especially when combined with the broad ELITech Clinical Systems test menu. Based on the successful Selectra and Flexor Analyser families, the Selectra ProXS and Flexor EL80 chemistry systems offer an ideal solution of proven quality, performance and value to get the job done with results laboratories can trust, every time and on time. Pierre Debiais, President of the Elitech Group, commented: “This announcement demonstrates the benefit of combining proven analyser strengths with our reagent expertise to rapidly bring our customers an exceptional systems offering.” Mr Debiais went on to note: “These systems are the beginning of a comprehensive line of new ELITech Clinical Systems products focused on successfully meeting the bench-top chemistry needs of laboratories, all over the globe”.
