For applications of particle sizes between 2mm and 40um Endecotts Ltd have recently introduced the Cylcone Air Sizer. The integral bench top unit incorporates a vacuum pump and fines collector that uses standard 200mm test sieves.
Endecotts claim the Cyclone Air Sizer is simply the most efficient method of analysis for fine particles enabling sample fines to be discharged by cyclonic action into a collection drawer.
For sieving of difficult and very fine dry materials from 20um upwards Endecotts offer the Air Sizer with a separate vacuum unit.
