Innovation Rolls in the Mini Bin™ Foil Dispenser

“The Mini Bin™ Foil Dispenser, manufactured by Heathrow Scientific, was designed as an alternative to wasteful giant-sized foil rolls and expensive precut foil squares often used in laboratories,” said Product Developer, Thiphachan Keobouvanh. The diminutive size of the dispenser at only 19 L x 10 W x 12 H cm is sensitive to limited spaced work areas and easy to transport.

Safety was also a main consideration. “In comparing our design to other dispensers on the market, we didn’t see comparable features that addressed safety. Our unique blade and cover activation allows the foil to be safely cut to a desired length,” continued Keobouvanh. Another welcomed featured is a foam strip positioned along the length of the cover to prevent the foil from retracting back into the dispenser.

Two foil rolls in 102 and 153 mm sizes are made exclusively for the Mini Bin. Both are 153 meters in length.
