For over 13 years Heathrow Scientific has been designing, developing and manufacturing laboratory supplies and instruments. Our products are colourful, innovative and designed to make the best use of space constrained laboratories.

Take for example our new Pop-UpTM rack. This rack has a unique hinge design that allows you to quickly collapse it for convenient, low profile storage and easily pop it up and hold 15 and 50ml tubes.

Our new SharkfinTM micro petting workstation offers a stylish yet convenient way to store all your pipetting needs in one place. The three interlocking modules include a pipettor stand, a tip stand that fits most 96 well tip racks designs and a double bin to hold all your pipetting accessories.

We’ve even added accessories to our popular DropletTM blood collection tray. We now offer a Droplet lid and extra storage pockets. The pockets clip onto both ends of the Droplet collection tray for extra storage. The Droplet lid protects the contents of the tray yet still allows convenient access to the soft rubber grip handle. The lid also has two holes in each corner allowing standard cable ties to thread through for secure storage.

Heathrow Scientific has been long regarded for its slide boxes as well as our 20 & 30 place slide trays. For 2010 we’ve added two new slide boxes and a 10 place slide tray. The first slide box offers storage for non-standard microscope slides (3 x 2). The second slide box is made out of polycarbonate to withstand ultra low temperatures down to -80oC. The addition of our 10 place slide tray rounds out our popular line of slide trade folders. We’ve even added a rack to conveniently store our 20 place folders. Constructed of sturdy ABS plastic, our new 20 place slide tray rack holds five 20 place slide trays. Included are five clasps in assorted colors. The clasps provide an area for identification and double as a handle. The plastic tray can be placed in refrigeration and is stackable.
