The AggRAM Platelet Aggregometer from Helena Biosciences has received a radical software upgrade that makes the instrument more flexible and powerful than ever before. The Helena AggRAM is a market-leading, four or eight-channel analyser that delivers user-definable platelet
aggregation and ristocetin cofactor testing, utilising simple-to-use software.
Thanks to the software upgrade, AggRAM users can now overlay up to 21 result curves from previous tests onto an existing sample curve, allowing quick and efficient comparisons of patient results. Results can
be exported as a PDF, in HTML format or as an Excel file, allowing quick and easy distribution and analysis. A full report-editing suite is included, allowing reporting documents to be completely tailored to the requirements of the hospital.
The AggRAM softwareâs data handling and analysis is fully comprehensive, including in-depth analysis features such as rapid
and automatic calculation of slope, time taken to maximum aggregation, lag phase and secondary slope. Quality control is implemented with a Levy-Jennings graphical display based on Westgard rules.
The upgrade to the AggRAM software allows a selection of up to 15 patient demographics to be displayed - these can be filled in either before or after the results have been produced to allow for fast and
effective test through put and data handling. The AggRAM software supports an extensive database for patient results, allowing simple patient profiling of archived data, with all data now automatically
backed up on startup of the program.
With these new features and the existing, fundamental features including bi-directional LIMS interface and economical half sample
volume settings, the AggRAM consolidates its market-leading position.
