The new SPRi-Plex II™ from Horiba Scientific revolutionises the way researchers and analysts are able to utilise label free bio-affinity analyses. The Surface Plasmon Resonance imaging technology developed for the Horiba SPRi-Plex adds high-throughput, real-time kinetic and affinity studies to bio-molecule arrays.

This enhanced system will allow users to: run their experiments faster, longer and with less operator input with improved levels of automation; work at a range of temperatures using its Peltier temperature control; analyse the chemical composition of unknown moieties more easily with comprehensive surface chemistries and MALDI-TOF coupling; and analyse the widest range of samples including proteins, peptides, carbohydrates, DNA, RNA and even bacteria or single cells.

Unlike traditional ‘channel’ SPR, the SPRi-Plex II™ uses specialised and flexible SPRi Bio-chip 2-D arrays and imaging techniques to produce sensitive and fast multiplexed results. In a single experiment different parameters can be studied and compared: different biomolecules, concentrations, negative control, affinity constant, real time kinetic curves, surface imaging and surface coverage (pg/mm2), all at the touch of a button.

The other benefits you will gain using the Horiba Scientific SPRi-Plex II™ are: immediate feedback and online monitoring using direct image display; improved lab efficiency; and reduced consumable costs (by monitoring several hundred possible binding events simultaneously).
