Hosokawa Micron Ltd announce the launch of a new Alpine Air jet Sieve e200 LS, this new version of an established industry standard, for particle quality control by dry sieving, now features additional functions including comparison analysis, trend analysis for statistics, a language switch over and country specific measurement feature. A new eTimeSave programme means that Alpine Air Jet Sieve e200 LS users can always select the correct sieving time for their sample.

During sampling the only thing that moves the material being analysed is the air flow exiting the rotating slotted nozzle which continuously purges the screen mesh. This leads to exceptionally short sieving times and enables even difficult to sieve materials to be handled effectively. The analysis range is 10 microns to 4000 microns.

Featuring an integrated mini computer that regulates monitors and controls the entire sieving process the new e200LS version offers reduced quality control operational times and enhanced repeatability.

The Alpine Air Jet Sieve e200LS has a user-friendly touch screen interface and an integrated analysis guide leads the operator through the analysis as well as offering numerous additional functions. The unit can be password protected for user administration, has recipe management as well as archiving and exporting of the results. The basic software for the e 200LS is eControl that is available in three

versions, namely basic, advanced and professional.

The new design now allows for any make of sieve mesh to be used and with the added advantage of the new eTimeSave programme users are assisted in selection of the correct sieving time by using a probe in the sieving chamber. Sieving time is a critical factor in the particle size analysis.

Alpine`s new e 200LS Air Jet Sieve guarantees results of outstanding quality and repeatability because the integrated modules eliminate any error sources. Operator error is reduced and sample reliability is increased making the overall analysis more reliable in all industries
