New Software Adds Reporting Capability to Water Activity Meter
Apr 29 2010
Labcell has introduced a new AquaLink Report Generator (RG) software utility for use with the Decagon Devices AquaLab Series 4 family of water activity meters. As well as providing a PC link, the new RG software adds sophisticated reporting capability. Those in the pharmaceutical industry will also appreciate the way the software helps them to comply with the requirements of the FDA’s 21 CFR Part 11.
Users can choose whether to connect a PC running AquaLink Report Generator directly to the AquaLab during testing - which enables real-time visualisation of the data - or the PC can be connected after the test(s) to download the stored data. Indeed, the software is capable of working with data sets from a number of different AquaLab instruments.
As well as handling data for water activity (ERH), temperature and time, the AquaLink Report Generator enables users to add sample names, tags and comments. Reports can be generated for individual tests or for data
collated from multiple tests; these reports can be output as secure PDF files or in spreadsheet-compatible formats.
This new software will be of interest to users of AquaLab Series 4 water activity meters in the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, detergents and other industries, both for quality assurance and research and development purposes.
