Lancer 1400 series lab glassware washers and dryers have been installed at the new Cancer Research UK Cambridge Research Institute opened by the Queen earlier this year.

The CRI aims to bring the scientific strengths of Cambridge to bear on practical questions of cancer diagnosis, treatment and prevention and will be the focus for the application of high quality research under one umbrella.

Cleaning the laboratory glassware for re-use takes place in a centralised facility of three large 1400 washers and two matching dryers from Lancer which together handle the throughput volume. In addition there are several support racks and baskets to give flexible options for glassware types and sizes.
