Environmental protection and careful use of resources are part of Memmert's DNA. With the help of our energy-efficient and climate-friendly laboratory equipment, we are working on promoting innovations for greater environmental protection in the laboratory. We were the first to use Peltier technology for the temperature control of high-performance incubators and climate chambers. To date, no other manufacturer offers a wider range of high-performance cooled incubators and constant climate chambers with Peltier technology. The fact that the appliances are heated and cooled with one single system is unrivalled worldwide, as is our range of appliance sizes. We have introduced more new products for GreenLab purposes in 2018 too in the form of the climate chamber ICHeco and the cooled incubator ICPeco – both cooled with the climate-neutral refrigerant CO₂ (R744) – as well as the new vacuum oven VO, which saves up to 70% energy thanks to a speed-controlled vacuum pump.
