New Generation Plant Growth Chambers feature Energy-Saving LED Lighting

POL-EKO-APARATURA present their new generation of plant growth chambers with an energy-saving LED lighting system consisting of blue and red LEDs. This kind of lighting is especially useful in plant growing as most plants use daylight that is absorbed by chlorophyll, most optimally, in the blue portion of the electromagnetic spectrum, followed by the red portion. Plant growing under this colour lighting is more economical than under any other colour as the lighting energy is delivered in the spectrum that can be absorbed most efficiently. This solution also preserves electric energy as it is not wasted in producing light in the spectrum which is not useful for plants.
